The film presents an overview of climbing development in Slovak popular area of Kalamarka from the pre-war period to the present. Through testimonies of several generations of climbers the documentary provides a snapshot of the time in which first ascents were created. It describes the approach to climbing and its values. The documentary also portrays the course of the event Kalamarka which follows the tradition of the events in this climbing area. Dokument zachytáva aj priebeh Kalamárkapu, ktorý nadväzuje na tradíciu konania sa lezeckých pretekov v tejto skalkárskej oblasti.
